Prisoner Wine Co.

“Visit the hippest new tasting room at Napa Valley at The Prisoner Wine Company in St. Helena. The refurbished industrial compound is quite an iconoclastic design for a winery. Instead of villas and vineyards views, there's distressed wood, chains, macramé ropes, patinaed zinc panels and modular tables and chairs made from aluminum salvaged from a submarine. Wine is stored in shackles behind the bar and designer Richard Von Saal says the patina mirrored stainless walls are “reflections of dirty thoughts.” It's perfectly on brand considering The Prisoner has always been one to break the rules with unconventional blends.”
